Description

Voice actors, especially in games, face a unique challenge that film and stage actors don’t - voice actors require a performance preparation process that can take no more than a few minutes, but still deliver a world-class result.

Many of the acting methods conceived and popularized by the “venerated masters” of the 19th and 20th centuries are slow, reliant on a real scene partner, or require the actor to “have a feeling” or “achieve a state” before they’re “ready to act” - all conditions which make these approaches useless for a game actor.

This session introduces a new, fast, EFFECTIVE acting process for voice actors that is practical, takes the mysticism and ambiguity out of the actor’s process, and will provide participants with the tools to realistically scream for a medic on the battlefield, without having to have ever been on an actual battlefield, without having to be inspired, and without having to “really feel scared.”

If you’re new to acting, an experienced actor who still struggles with “being real” or “creating emotion,” or a seasoned veteran who has it all figured out - please join us for a session that will change your perspectives on acting.
